Pubs and bars around Southport town centre will host this superb celebration of real ale and great beer.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Southport-Beer-Week-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Southport Beer Week debuts this May with special events\" class=\"wp-image-443708\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Visitors can take part in an ale trail, tasting beers at the participating venues and collecting stamps in a Beer Week booklet as they go.<\/p>\n<p>Collect enough stamps and be in with a chance of winning a \u00a3250 voucher (to spend at a Southport business of your choice), as well as runner-up prizes including beers from local breweries.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the perfect excuse to explore different venues around the town centre, with nineteen venues already confirmed and over eighty beers expected to be on offer throughout the festival.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s plenty to enjoy over the four days of Southport Beer Week.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Windmill-Neil-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Southport Beer Week debuts this May with special events\" class=\"wp-image-443710\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The Windmill\u00a0pub on Seabank Road is set to celebrate with extra beers and an outdoor BBQ on Saturday 24th May.<\/p>\n<p>Beer bar Tap &amp; Bottles\u00a0will be hosting a number of activities including a Rivington Brewery tap takeover and classic pub games.<\/p>\n<p>Award-winning pub The Guesthouse\u00a0will host a special beer-themed quiz on Thursday 22nd\u00a0May and The Sir Henry Seagrave will host a \u2018Dark Vs Light\u2019 mini beer-festival, showcasing both pale ales and darker beers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/The-Guest-House-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Southport Beer Week debuts this May with special events\" class=\"wp-image-443711\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Many of the venues, including The Masons Arms, The Fool, Kokomo, Punch Tarmey\u2019s and the Southport Coaster, will be marking the occasion with live music.\u00a0 The Grazing Lounge\u00a0of Bold Street will be offering street food alongside their famous pies, flavoured with ale from Southport Brewery.<\/p>\n<p>Local historian David Walshe is organising a \u2018Lost and Old Pubs of Southport\u2019 guided walk on Saturday 24th May.\u00a0\u00a0Tickets for the guided walk are available <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A special beer has been brewed by Southport Brewery\u00a0to celebrate the event.\u00a0 \u2018Southport Beer Week Bitter\u2019 will be available a selection of venues in the lead-up to the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Southport-Market-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Southport Beer Week debuts this May with special events\" class=\"wp-image-443712\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Local producers Hex Brewery\u00a0will also launch a brand new, one-off beer on the opening day of the Beer Week.<\/p>\n<p>Southport BID is working alongside\u00a0Southport Pubwatch\u00a0members and town centre venues to make this event happen.<\/p>\n<p>Original artwork for the event has been designed by local artist \u2018Ruthie Illustrations\u2019 (Ruth
