class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Officers investigating a double stabbing on a busy Manchester road have issued an update <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/news\/greater-manchester-news\/two-teenage-boys-17-18-31512933\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">after two teenagers were rushed to hospital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were attacked on <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/stockport\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Stockport<\/a> Road, in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/longsight\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Longsight<\/a>, on Friday afternoon (April 25).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Emergency services were called out to the scene at 12.30pm, with a cordon in place for several hours at the junction with Kirkmanshulme Lane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/greater-manchester-police\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said the victims had both suffered serious injuries following the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In an update issued this morning (Saturday), GMP said their injuries were thankfully not life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1745662513_482_0_dOUBLE-STABBING.jpg\" alt=\"dOUBLE-STABBING.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>A cordon was in place for several hours(Image: MEN)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">No arrests have been made so far in connection with the incident and police enquiries are ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Images from the scene on Friday showed a grey Ford Puma inside the cordon, left with its passenger door open.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A bicycle was left on the ground in a cycle lane next to the car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Both vehicles were later removed from the scene after being searched for evidence.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A heavily-bloodstained shirt was seen being photographed and carried by officers as evidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">GMP said on Friday it was stepping up patrols in the area while witnesses were urged to come forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Detective Inspector Geoff Machent, from GMP&#8217;s north Manchester division, said on Friday: &#8220;We know that news of an incident of this nature will be concerning, especially owing to the ages of those involved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Extensive work is ongoing to identify and locate suspects, and we are working with a range of specialist partners to ensure the victims are safeguarded.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0_JRP_MEN_250425_police_008JPGjp.jpg\" alt=\"A bike was left been deployed to the area whilst we conduct further enquiries, and I would encourage anyone who has any information or concerns, to speak to our officers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p
