Hollyoaks<\/a> star Nadine Mulkerrin<\/a> and Anna Passey<\/a> have weighed in on Cleo McQueen<\/a> and Sienna Blake<\/a>\u2019s relationship in the wake of the unexpected Dodger Savage<\/a> (Danny Mac<\/a>) twist. <\/p>\n Dodger, as viewers know, was led to believe by serial killer Jez Blake<\/a> (Jeremy Sheffield) that sister Sienna was the one responsible for claiming the lives <\/a>of various villagers. <\/p>\n While investigating the case and branding his twin sibling a murderer, the detective started to fall for Sienna\u2019s girlfriend Cleo, with the two sharing a passionate kiss. <\/p>\n While Cleo was adamant that Sienna wasn\u2019t capable of murder (though RIP Ethan Williams<\/a>), she has been riddled with guilt over her mistake with Dodger \u2013 and has thought about whether or not to tell Sienna. <\/p>\n Discussing what\u2019s to come for the couple, Nadine told Metro: \u2018The relationship is tested \u2013 there is this big elephant in the room with the Dodger kiss. <\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s really clever the way it\u2019s been done \u2013 it\u2019s not like your typical love triangle. As you can imagine, Sienna is a little bit possessive and jealous sometimes [laughs] but she loves Cleo.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Nadine was hopeful for a positive outcome for the beloved couple, hoping that the story will end result with Sienna and Cleo being \u2018a very strong team.\u2019<\/p>\n The Cleo star also promised some \u2018great scenes\u2019 when Cleo has to give birth to her and Joel Dexter\u2019s (Rory Douglas-Speed) baby. <\/p>\n Joel, as viewers know, made his final appearance earlier this month after being transferred to a prison away from the village. Discussing Cleo and Joel\u2019s ever-present connection, Nadine said: \u2018The Joel thing is always going to be bubbling in the background.<\/p>\n \u2018I thought it was cool that they both went their separate ways but they always find a way to come back together.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t However, Nadine was adamant that Joel and Cleo aren\u2019t meant for one another. \u2018I think her and Sienna are [meant to be]\u2019.<\/p>\n Clienna has gone down a storm with Hollyoaks fans. The couple shared their first kiss in February<\/a> and the storylines haven\u2019t stopped coming<\/a> for them in the months since. <\/p>\n \u2018I thought [the fans] might like it, I\u2019m not going to lie\u2019, enthused Nadine. \u2018You go into it when you\u2019re paired with a new person, you think: \u2018Right let\u2019s try really hard.\u2019 <\/p>\n \u2018Because if the audience dig it then it\u2019s good for everyone. Sometimes the writers are led by audience reaction \u2013 and that scene in the shower, we really took our time with it and had a brilliant director. <\/p>\n \t\t \u2018It was iconic \u2013 you knew when you were filming it that this is pretty cool. And you weren\u2019t expecting the kiss at the end. From the of, the fans were on to it. Anna was so professional and great to work with \u2013 we work hard on it and the fans are enjoying it.\u2019<\/p>\n Nadine isn\u2019t the only one who is a fan of all-things Clienna, with co-star Anna also sharing her enthusiasm for the couple. <\/p>\n \u2018I\u2019ve always been such a massive fan of Nadine\u2019s work,\u2019 she told Metro on the red carpet at a screening for Hollyoaks\u2019 30th anniversary. \u2018I love her. Every storyline I\u2019ve seen her do, I\u2019ve just thought: \u201cShe\u2019s incredible\u201d.<\/p>\n But we didn\u2019t really have too much together and I didn\u2019t really see ways we could have storylines, and then [Exec Producer] Hannah said: \u201cWe\u2019re going to put you guys together in a storyline\u201d<\/p>\n I thought: \u201cI wonder what we\u2019ll get up to!\u201d. I didn\u2019t expect what we would get up to! I would never have pitched it or thought of it but oh my gosh do I love it. <\/p>\n \u2018What I love is that Sienna brings out a bit more independence in Cleo, I feel like she\u2019s a bit tougher.
