Powerhouse Padel has launched at Hanover Place in Coleraine with the support of Investment Fund for Northern Ireland, managed by Whiterock.<\/p>\n

The old warehouse was converted into five indoor padel courts by founders Elliott McKew and Simon Moutray.<\/p>\n

A racket game, padel is one of the world\u2019s fastest growing sports, proving particularly popular with students and young professionals.<\/p>\n

Powerhouse Padel is the first dedicated padel facility in the Causeway area and will provide court rental by the hour, seven days a week.<\/p>\n

It will also host padel tournaments, social nights, coaching sessions, and kids’ camps during the school holidays. The facility will also provide equipment rental, with plans for a shop selling equipment.<\/p>\n

Operated by the British Business Bank and managed by Whiterock, the \u00a370m Investment Fund for Northern Ireland offers debt finance and equity investment to businesses at different growth stages. The debt fund offers loans of \u00a325,000 up to \u00a32m.<\/p>\n

Mr McKew said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to open Powerhouse Padel in the heart of Coleraine. The cutting-edge padel centre features five premium indoor courts and will be a vibrant hub for the local community, offering opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy one of the world\u2019s fastest growing sports.<\/p>\n
