A young woman who was tragically found dead at a flat in Manchester city centre<\/a> has been named as Kadey Anglin.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews were called to an address on Grosvenor Street, off Oxford Road<\/a>, in the early hours of last Thursday (October 16).<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers responded to reports of a concern for welfare.<\/p>\n

A 20-year-old woman was found unresponsive at the scene. She has now been confirmed to be Ms Anglin.<\/p>\n

Manchester Coroners’ Court confirmed a file had been received in relation to her death. An inquest is expected to be opened in due course.<\/p>\n

A GMP spokesperson said Ms Anglin’s death is being investigated by the force, with enquires ongoing.<\/p>\n

A close friend of Ms Anglin has provided a tribute, describing her as the ‘funniest, craziest, coolest, most caring person’.<\/p>\n

Her close friend, Emily Walker, said: \u201cNo words can ever sum up how amazing Kadey was. She brought us so much joy every day to everyone\u2019s lives just by being herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was the funniest, craziest, coolest, most caring person that any of us will ever have the pleasure of knowing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Three arrests were made at the flat last Thursday in connection with alleged drugs supply. All three people have been bailed while investigations continue.<\/p>\n

Ms Anglin was a member of staff at Gorilla in Manchester city centre, bosses confirmed. The flat where she sadly died is near to the bar’s sister venue, The Deaf Institute.<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News understands the member of staff was not on shift at the time and the incident was not directly connected to either venue.<\/p>\n

Bosses at The Deaf Institute previously said in a statement: “We can confirm that in the early hours of Thursday morning a team member from our Gorilla venue tragically passed away in an apartment on Grosvenor Street.<\/p>\n

“We do not have any detailed information as to what occurred at this time, and it would be inappropriate for us to comment further particularly whilst there is an ongoing police investigation.<\/p>\n

“Naturally, we have reached out to Greater Manchester Police<\/a> and informed them that we will assist in any way we can in terms of uncovering what has happened.<\/p>\n
