Firefighters were called to a fire at a home in Salford<\/a> this evening.<\/p>\n Three fire engines attended the scene on Kirkham Street, Eccles<\/a> just after 5pm on Wednesday (October 22).<\/p>\n Crews from Salford Central and Agecroft fire stations used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.<\/p>\n They were on the scene for around one hour and forty minutes. No injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: \u201cJust after 5pm this evening (Wednesday 22nd October), three fire engines from Salford Central and Agecroft fire station were called to reports of a building fire involving a property on Kirkham Street, Salford.<\/p>\n \u201cCrews arrived quickly at the scene.
