Who says fashion is just for the two-legged elite? A royal-approved milliner who has created hats for Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> is taking her talents from Buckingham Palace to canine couture.<\/p>\n

Awon Golding<\/strong> is releasing her eighth Haute Dogs calendar with fabulous new images captured by photographer Lucy Reeve<\/strong> in an effort to raise money for the United Kingdom-based dog rescue charity Underdog International.<\/p>\n

Every year, Golding swaps out royalty for rescues, crafting paw-sitively fetching headwear for pups in need that mirrors hats worn by the Princess of Wales, 43, and Duchess of Sussex, 44. \u201cAlongside each portrait, you\u2019ll find the pup\u2019s story and the inspiration behind the design,\u201d per the website selling the 2026 Haute Dogs calendar<\/a> for $21 a pop.<\/p>\n

Other acclaimed milliners, including Carol Kennedy<\/strong>, Bronwyn Shooks<\/strong> and Justine Bradley-Hill<\/strong>, add their special touches to ensure the pooches are rocking the most stylish chapeaux. 12 precious pups are featured, one for each month, in delightfully over-the-top pieces.<\/p>\n

Kate notably wore a hat by Golding for Prince Philip<\/strong>\u2019s memorial service<\/a> in March 2022, also donning a chic blue pillbox style for Easter celebrations in 2023.<\/p>\n

Markle stunned in a royal blue and black feathered beret design<\/a> by the milliner on Christmas Day in 2018, looking sophisticated in a matching dress paired with a Victoria Beckham<\/strong> coat.<\/p>\n

Golding \u2014 whose designs have also been worn on celebrities including Lady Gaga<\/strong>, Kylie Minogue<\/strong> and Dita Von Teese<\/strong> \u2014 noted it\u2019s a passion project and a venture she is proud to be a part of as \u201cUnderdog International is unique because of how they help dogs and children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo make a big change in the dog rescue community and in general in the world, you have to educate people, and that\u2019s what\u2019s so special about this charity,\u201d she added. Underdog International is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs plus finding them a forever home.<\/p>\n

The milliner has raised over $160,500 for dog charities worldwide ever since the launch of her first calendar and is glad to be helping pups with her mission.<\/p>\n
