Despite Caroline trying to soften up her comments about Richard’s weight, telling him that they’d all put on weight, she made things worse when she called Richard a “skinny bloke who eats a lot”.<\/p>\n
“You’re not offended by it, are you?” Caroline continued as Richard politely replied: “No, I’m just surprised.”<\/p>\n
This wasn’t the first time Caroline put her foot in her mouth after she misgendered Zelah and made a joke about Nancy’s pansexuality<\/a> earlier on in the season.<\/p>\n ITV<\/p>\n In the Diary Room, Richard branded Caroline a liar.<\/p>\n “Caroline, dear lady, you lie as easily as you breathe,” he said, adding that he’d started ignoring her.<\/p>\n “I just ignore it. With a smile. I do it politely, but ignore it nonetheless,” he said.<\/p>\n He then said: “I actually feel quite sorry for her. Because she tries so hard, she really does… She tries so hard but that actually is the problem. She tries too hard.”<\/p>\n Richard concluded, telling Big Brother that Caroline would do herself “a huge favour” if she “eased up a bit” as he believed she had a “soft heart”.<\/p>\n Later on, Richard referred to Caroline, who was offered immunity from eviction<\/a>, as “Little Miss Lying Through Her Teeth Any Minute” in a conversation with Tate.<\/p>\n Speaking to Big Brother, Caroline disputed Richard’s “national treasure” status in the house.<\/p>\n “Well, national treasures, they can’t just be silent… I bet he’s a right little bastard at home,” she said.<\/p>\n ITV<\/p>\n “He must have some sort of anger,” she added, calling him a “coward” for staying silent in meetings.<\/p>\n She also predicted that, following her comments about his weight, Richard wouldn’t be nominated and would make it to the final.<\/p>\n After the latest development in the “one-sided beef” between Richard and Caroline, as fans have called it, some have called for him to make it to the top three.<\/p>\n “I adore richard and I hope he is in the top 3!” one fan offered on Instagram<\/a>, with someone else agreeing: “That there, has just won him the show.”<\/p>\n “Richard is so positive, bless him! My favourite!” a third fan wrote, calling for Caroline’s eviction. <\/p>\n “Caroline’s [one-sided] beef with Richard is odd,” a fourth viewer noted, while another person side with Richard’s comments: “Richard calling Caroline out, as he should!”<\/p>\n Someone else suggested the beef conceals some potential romantic undertones from Caroline: “Plot twist: Caroline fancies Richard and doesn’t know how to deal with it”.<\/p>\n Finally, a viewer hoped for a reconciliation, writing: “I love them both and I need them to become friends”, with someone else adding: “Same.”<\/p>\n With a few more weeks to go before the big finale, there is a chance for Richard and Caroline to bury the axe.
