Gogglebox<\/a> fans have been left floored after show favourites Dave and Shirley Griffiths<\/a> shared a rare snap of their grown-up son.<\/p>\n

The Welsh couple first joined the long-running Channel 4<\/a> programme back in 2015 – and it didn\u2019t take them long to become firm favourites with viewers at home.<\/p>\n

Over the years, from their Caerphilly home Dave and Shirley have had fans in stitches thanks to their hilarious one-liners and thoughts on the latest bits of telly.<\/p>\n

However, unlike their co-stars, the couple – who have been married for 49 years – have never been joined by any of their other relatives.<\/p>\n

Apart from their beloved dog, Dave and Shirley have opted to keep their family members away from the spotlight – including their two children, daughter Gemma and son, Simon.<\/p>\n

However, on Wednesday (October 22) the pair took to their Instagram<\/a> to tell their 208k followers some exciting news about Simon.<\/p>\n

On their joint account, Dave and Shirley shared a topless snap of Simon competing in a fitness competition. Heavily tattooed Simon posed for the camera and rocked nothing but a pair of black gym shorts and a baseball cap as he flashed his buff body in the photo.<\/p>\n

In the caption, the pair shared their pride over Simon\u2019s accomplishment and wrote: \u201cOur boy Simon completed the #HYROX challenge in 75 minutes well done butt\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dave and Shirley\u2019s loyal legion of fans rushed to the comments section to send their congrats to their son. One person said: \u201cWell done Simon.\u201d Another added: \u201cFantastic [fire emoji].\u201d A third chimed in: \u201cExcellent!\u201d<\/p>\n

Dave and Shirley\u2019s son previously sent their fans into meltdown back in June 224, when his parents shared a photo of him posing topless in shorts while on holiday abroad. Viewers at the time commented: \u201cOh my. Just woke up to this wonderful image.\u201d Someone else declared: \u201cHandsome young lad!\u201d A third chimed in: \u201cWow he\u2019s proper fit!\u201d<\/p>\n

Much to the delight of fans, Dave and Shirley have returned for the new Gogglebox series – which started earlier this year. However, it is looking a little different, as it was announced in July that beloved stars Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle would not be returning.<\/p>\n

The couple became a part of Gogglebox history as the first Scottish pair to join the programme in February 2022. Announcing their departure from the Channel 4 show, Roisin took to TikTok to share the unfortunate update.<\/p>\n
