During a trip to Scotland, Jimmy ended up unexpectedly meeting four armed royal guards. The star was on a solo trip, having always had the wish to go on a luxury train journey.<\/p>\n
The royals would spend their summers at Balmoral<\/a>. But unfortunately for Jimmy, he didn\u2019t get to meet any members of the family, Jimmy has shared his experience in a social media video, and even joked that things almost went wrong.<\/p>\n His trip started in Edinburgh where he hopped on the Royal Scotsman to enjoy whisky tasting, before disembarking in Keith.<\/p>\n But it was his time at Balmoral Castle which he got up to the most interesting part of his trip.<\/p>\n He said in a video<\/a>: \u201cI am here in Scotland. I went on a vacation by myself. My wife is working and the kids are at school. My wife was like, \u2018I\u2019ve got the kids, where would you want to go?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I have always wanted to go on one of those luxury trains. So, I did that.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking about his time at Balmoral Castle, Jimmy said: \u201cMy friend Eddie Burns, back in the States, I told him I\u2019m going to Scotland. He said, \u2018I\u2019m Scottish, my great-grandfather was Scottish.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cI said, \u2018Give me something of yours, like some DNA, and I\u2019ll throw it in the water or I\u2019ll bury it somewhere in Scotland and they\u2019ll know that you did well back in America.’\u201d<\/p>\n Eddie gave Jimmy a tie clip from his time in the NYPD, and while he was at the River Dee beside Balmoral, Jimmy threw it into the river.<\/p>\n But when Jimmy turned around, there were four armed guards watching him.<\/p>\n He said in a clip: \u201cAnd then we have got some law enforcement happening. So, I might get arrested for this Eddie. But it was worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n After his slight panic that he was going to be in trouble, Jimmy<\/a> discovered that they were actually just interested in what he was doing.<\/p>\n He explained: \u201cI turned around and there were four armed royal guards staring at me. They come over to me, they go, \u2018What are you doing?\u2019 and I joke, \u2018A little littering.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cThey ask if I\u2019m Jimmy Fallon and I told them I was. I said, \u2018I\u2019m over at Fife Arms but I haven\u2019t checked in yet. If you want to, I would love to buy you a drink at the hotel.\u2019 They said, \u2018No, we\u2019re good, but maybe we\u2019ll throw you a dinner.’\u201d<\/p>\n Later that day Jimmy got a phone call from the front desk, telling him that the royal guard was there for him and they needed an answer by noon.<\/p>\n Jimmy then decided to try to fit in at the dinner, and decided to wear a kilt.
