A man was left with serious injuries following an assault in Bolton<\/a> this evening.<\/p>\n

Police were called to reports of the incident on Church Road, Kearsley, at around 2.30pm on Thursday (October 23).<\/p>\n

GMP say that the man was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening. Pictures from the scene also show large quantities of blood on a wall at the scene.<\/p>\n

No arrests have been made as enquiries continue. There is no wider threat to the community according to police.<\/p>\n

A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 2.30pm on Thursday 23 October 2025 officers were called to Church Road in Kearsley to reports of an assault.<\/p>\n

“Officers have attended and located a male with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

“The male has been taken to hospital and the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.<\/p>\n

“No arrests have been made at this time, and enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances of the incident, however it is believed there is no wider threat to the community.<\/p>\n
