The presenter for The Royal Variety Performance 2025 has been confirmed as acts for 40th anniversary celebration, which will air on ITV<\/a>, were revealed.<\/p>\n Returning to the Royal Albert Hall in London for the fifth year in a row, the event which began in 1912 is the world’s longest-running entertainment show<\/a>.<\/p>\n With senior members of the royal family<\/a> in attendance, the variety show is aimed at families and features acts from the worlds of music, dance, comedy and other specialities.<\/p>\n Last year saw Britain\u2019s Got Talent\u2019s Amanda Holden and the Celebrity Traitors\u2019 <\/a>Alan Carr on presenting duties, with music legend Elton John among those who performed.<\/p>\n Each year sees a new presenter taking on the role of host, with Bradley Walsh<\/a>, Lee Mack, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan among those to present the action in recent years.<\/p>\n It\u2019s now been confirmed that the 2025 presenter is none other than Manchester comedian, actor and presenter Jason Manford<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Salford<\/a> native has been busy as of late, with his BBC<\/a> gameshow The Answer Run proving to be a big hit with viewers and his A Manford All Seasons seeing him tour the UK.<\/p>\n Set to be held on Wednesday, November 19, this year\u2019s edition of the event will begin with opera star Katherine Jenkins leading the National Anthem.<\/p>\n Leading the acts performing on the night is Jessie J, who recently made her TV comeback on Strictly<\/a> Come Dancing after revealing her early-stage breast cancer diagnosis during the summer.<\/p>\n Just weeks after she performed at Capital’s Summertime Ball at London’s Wembley Stadium, Jesse <\/a>had a full mastectomy performed in June.<\/p>\n The Price Tag singer had to cancel the US leg and postpone the UK and European dates of her upcoming tour due to her having to undergo another surgery.<\/p>\n With Jessie performing the very personal song I\u2019ll Never Know Why, iconic group Madness will make their debut appearance on the night, with Grammy award-winning Laufey also performing.<\/p>\n McFly’s Tom Fletcher<\/a> will introduce an exclusive performance from the eagerly anticipated Paddington The Musical, which he composed, with Stephen Fry also making a guest appearance, hot off the stage from the West End production of The Importance of Being Earnest.<\/p>\n Keeping in line with tradition, magician Harry Moulding will finally get to take to the stage after winning the 2025 edition of Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a>.<\/p>\n There will be comedy from Tom Davis and Mick Miller, plus the incomparable and award-winning impressionist cast from the hit BBC series Dead Ringers.<\/p>\n Sir Bob Geldof, Midge Ure and special guests will introduce a one-off performance from the Live Aid musical Just For One Day, celebrating 40 years since the iconic concerts were helf in London and Philadelphia.<\/p>\n![\"jason](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/0_ECR_020925_jasonmanford.jpg\")
