A man has been left in ‘critical condition’ after he was found with ‘multiple stab wounds’ following a crash on a street in Manchester.<\/p>\n

Emergency services raced to Cardinal Street, Cheetham Hill<\/a>, after receiving reports of a disturbance in the area at around 2.25pm on Thursday (October 23).<\/p>\n

According to an eye witness, an air ambulance also attended the scene and a vehicle could be seen flipped onto its roof with police tape around it.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> say officers who attended the incident found a man with multiple stab wounds in what has been described as ‘targeted attack’.<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News understands that the victim was involved in a car chase that resulted in the overturned car. It is also believed that he was attacked after the collision.<\/p>\n

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Officers say there is no wider threat to the public.<\/p>\n

A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 2.25pm on Thursday 23 October 2025, officers were called to reports of a disturbance in the Cardinal Street area of Cheetham Hill.<\/p>\n

“Officers attended and discovered a male with multiple stab wounds. The male has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.<\/p>\n
