The Duchess of Sussex has lost another publicist, her tenth in five years, after her latest hire resigned three months into the role.<\/p>\n

Emily Robinson, a former senior director of publicity at Netflix who previously worked on The Crown, was appointed as director of communications in June to oversee media strategy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex<\/a> but left this month, the Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n

Robinson is at least the tenth publicist to leave Meghan and Harry\u2019s team since they left the UK for California five years ago. Two of the former publicists, James Holt and Miranda Barbot, were promoted into non-PR roles.<\/p>\n

Their team currently consists of Liam Maguire, director of communications in Europe, and Meredith Maines, chief communications officer.<\/p>\n

They met Tobyn Andrea, the King\u2019s press secretary, earlier this year \u2014 talks which are believed to have led to Prince Harry meeting his father last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Robinson oversaw publicity for The Crown between the third and sixth series which included story arcs such as Prince Harry\u2019s Nazi costume controversy, Princess Diana\u2019s Panorama interview and the scene in which a vision of Diana speaks to the Queen.<\/p>\n

She previously worked at the History and Discovery channels.<\/p>\n

A friend of Robinson told the newspaper: \u201cIt was her decision. She left a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s not a quitter, so things must have been pretty horrible for her to go\u201d.<\/p>\n

A cover story in Vanity Fair in February included the claim about the workplace: \u201cThe person who worked in media projects read stories in the tabloids about Meghan \u2018bullying\u2019 palace aides and couldn\u2019t imagine such behaviour actually happening. After working with her though, this person realised, \u2018oh, any given Tuesday this happened\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesman for the couple said: \u201cMiss Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company.<\/p>\n
