In the quarter to September, sales volumes rose by 0.9% with the hot weather in July and August boosting clothing sales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\"><strong>ONS<\/strong> senior statistician<strong> Hannah Finselbach <\/strong>says:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-spacefinder-role=\"inline\" class=\"dcr-154zxly\">\n<p>\u201cRetail sales rose quite strongly in the latest quarter and were at their highest level since summer 2022.
