David Howard Thornton has teased Terrifier 4 will be \u201cinsane\u201d.<\/p>\n
The upcoming slasher will conclude the stories of Thornton\u2019s dreaded Art the Clown, Victoria Heyes (Samantha Scaffidi) and Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera), and the 45-year-old actor has now said series creator Damien Leone, 43, has promised a \u201cfun\u201d and pulse-pounding climax to the Terrifier saga that will give fans a closer look at how Art came to be.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Slasher Radio, Thornton said: \u201cI\u2019m very excited, but I don\u2019t know a whole lot, because this time around Damien has been keeping everything very close to his vest about what\u2019s happening in the script.<\/p>\n
\u201cLauren, Samantha, and I, in the past when he\u2019s been writing the other scripts, he\u2019s been consulting us the whole entire time, running ideas by us. This time, he\u2019s been pretty much silent.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe just goes, \u2018Oh yeah, you\u2019re gonna love the origin story, Dave. You\u2019re gonna love how we do it.\u2019 And he said also, \u2018The finale is bat-s*** insane. You\u2019re gonna have a lot of fun with that.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cOther than that, I don\u2019t know, but that makes me excited.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Thornton believes Terrifier 4 will wrap up Art the Clown\u2019s story nicely, the Screamboat star doesn\u2019t rule out Leone revisiting the franchise later down the line.<\/p>\n
Thornton said: \u201cI feel like this might be the finale of this story arc that [Leone\u2019s] going with for right now and might give it a rest for a few years and might return later on to it. I have no idea, but I\u2019m excited nonetheless.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have so much faith in him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Leone had recently teased he was taking \u201csome bold swings\u201d with Terrifier 4.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on the Talk is Jericho podcast, he said: \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a really tough one to shoot, especially what I want to do in the last half hour of the movie \u2026 it\u2019s going to be really intense and experimental and really out there.<\/p>\n
\u201cLike crazier than anything I\u2019ve done before. It\u2019s going to have some really wild stuff in it. I\u2019m taking some bold swings.\u201d<\/p>\n
The All Hallows\u2019 Eve director added Terrifier 4 was his favourite chapter in the slasher series.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cIt\u2019s my favourite one I would say, just as a viewer that I wish I didn\u2019t have to make. I just want to watch it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking about where he was in terms of the movie\u2019s development process, Leone said he was \u201cfleshing out\u201d the story beats for Terrifier 4 now.<\/p>\n
He explained: \u201cThe script is like halfway there. Well it\u2019s pretty much \u2026 cause I don\u2019t write until I have it like broken down in like beats on a separate page.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, I have like bullet points, so I know where I\u2019m going so I\u2019m not just lost. Now it\u2019s just fleshing all those beats out.<\/p>\n
