Last week, the royal palace witnessed a change. King Charles and Prince William took a joint decision to strip Prince Andrew of his title, Duke of York. Now, sources tell National Examiner<\/a>, Prince of Wales wants the monarch \u201cto keep up the momentum\u201d and take similar action for Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

William wants to \u201chold his father [King Charles<\/a> III] to his promise, which was to slim down the monarchy together,\u201d the source said. Part of the promise was to \u201ccut ties\u201d with those royals \u201cwho profit from their connections to the family even though they\u2019re not serving royals,\u201d as per the insider.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The father of three is adamant about bringing the change as he feels Harry and Markle are \u201cshamelessly taking advantage of the king\u2019s goodwill.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thus, to safeguard the institution, William is \u201cpiling on the pressure for his father to be decisive and consistent.\u201d And this is a \u201cnightmare\u201d for the King as it \u201cwould likely send Harry<\/a> and Meghan off the deep end.\u201d<\/p>\n

But instead of taking any hasty decision, the monarch is \u201ctrying all in his power to soothe over family tensions and get things in order before William takes the crown.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, according to the source, \u201cit\u2019s pretty much accepted within the royal household\u201d that after William officially takes over the royal duties, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will \u201cimmediately get their titles yanked.\u201d<\/p>\n
