score out of 100 before the winner was decided at Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller\u2019s Readers\u2019 Choice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow<\/a>, Edinburgh and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/aberdeen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aberdeen<\/a> were chosen by the public and respectively scored 97, 93 and 84.<\/p>\n<p> The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/travel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> magazine hailed Aberdeen as a \u201cbustling\u201d port city.<\/p>\n<p>The publication said: \u201cIt\u2019s the people who really bring Aberdeen to life, as its relatively small population has a heart-warming community feel compared to the larger cities on our list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWander the silvery granite streets, a remnant of its industrial powerhouse past, and hear the soft tones of Doric conservation, Aberdeen\u2019s charming local dialect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"article-readmore__text-anchor-wrap\" <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Glasgow was hailed for being a social hub and for knowing how to party.<\/p>\n<p>The magazine continued: \u201cThink of cool cocktail\u00a0bars, historic boozers, and, the cherry on top, legendary music venues, which have given rise to Glasgow\u2019s Unesco City of\u00a0Music\u00a0status.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/edinburgh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edinburgh<\/a>, Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller added: \u201cThe Scottish capital is good-humoured, open-minded, and pulsing with creative energy, while widespread patriotism means that all are eager to provide superb standards of hospitality as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other cities, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/liverpool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/manchester\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester<\/a>, also made the shortlist.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Paisley <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/money\/15483783\/paisley-scotland-town-of-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was crowned as Scotland\u2019s Town of the Year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Judges awarded the title after being impressed by the town\u2019s \u201cresurgence\u201d and investment in its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">future<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It comes as new businesses open, new\u00a0homes\u00a0are built, and a new state-of-the-art secondary\u00a0school.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/paisley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paisley<\/a>\u00a0Museum has been transformed and is due to reopen\u00a0next\u00a0year.<\/p>\n<p>Kimberley Guthrie, Chief Officer of\u00a0awards\u00a0organisers Scotland\u2019s Towns Partnership (STP), said: \u201cIncredibly special things are happening in\u00a0Paisley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe town is on a remarkable journey of reinvention and rejuvenation, which has evolved over the past decade, kick-started by major cultural
