The singer, 44, who went public with her boyfriend Stevie Thomas in March, revealed she is 18 weeks into her pregnancy as she unveiled her blossoming baby bump. The Celebrity Traitors star, who was the first to be evicted in the BBC programme shared the news on Instagram. She captioned her post: “Plot twist, mother is mothering (again) #morethangeriatricpregnancy #oappregnancy #oapmilf #18weekspregnant.” Celebrity pals and fans alike flocked to comment on the post, as Celebrity Traitors host Claudia Winkleman penned: “SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU.” Zoe Ball remarked: “Ahhh girl you look divine. Congrats.” Gillian McKeith gushed: “ICONIC. Congratulations.”

Paloma, who is already a mother of two, welcomed her daughters with her ex-husband Leyman Lahcine in December 2016 and a second baby girl in February 2021 before parting ways in 2023 after nine years together. The singer previously opened up about her fertility struggles and revealed that both her children were conceived via IVF. Paloma went through six rounds of IVF treatment, during which she suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a devastating miscarriage. After a successful second round of IVF, she endured a horrific labour during the birth of her first child.

After being rushed into an emergency C-section, Paloma revealed that she was left with fertility problems and post-partum psychosis.

During an appearance on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast, she reflected: “The birth was really difficult. It was actually unbearable.

“It started with PROMS (Premature Rupture of Membranes), you’re sort of in labour, and that was only at 6 months pregnant, I think, and they were like You’re going to have to induce, you’re going to have a premature baby.

“I was really defiant, I was going to have that, so I was just in bed rest and downing 4 litres of water a day for a month to replenish the lost water.”

Detailing the aftermath of the difficult birth, Paloma continued: “After 21 hours in labour and no sleep for a week. I had 7 hours of sleep in 7 days.

“I had an emergency cesarean, which later on caused me fertility problems as well, and then a bit of post-partum psychosis because of lack of sleep, so I was, like, hallucinating. Probably depressed for a couple of years without realising.”

As for her further attempts to fall pregnant, the Gold crooner added: “Later, I wanted a second child, and then I had three failed transfers. The fourth one worked, and I was just so kind of headstrong about it.”

At the time, Paloma announced this pregnancy on Instagram and in her candid caption, she admitted she was proud of the accomplishment.

In 2020, she declared: “This child is so wanted. It’s my sixth round of IVF, and it was a struggle to get here. I had a very traumatic first birth, and I am also prone to postpartum depression.

“Being a mother is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, but I will swell up and I won’t glow. I intend to be very real about this with you all! To all the other pregnant women out there who are as in love with their babies as me but simultaneously shi****g themselves, let’s do this.”

For help and support with similar issues, contact Tommy’s Baby Charity on 0800 0147 800 or email midwife@tommys.org or visit tommys.org

Celebrity Traitors star Paloma Faith announced she is pregnant.
