Sarah Ferguson<\/strong> is not pleased<\/a> with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A royal insider told The Daily Mail<\/a> in an article published on Friday, October 24, that Ferguson, 66, had \u201cgone into a meltdown\u201d when Andrew, 65, told her she would yield her title as Duchess of York and \u201cwas wailing that he shouldn\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Royal Lodge<\/a> \u2018summit\u2019 wasn\u2019t a happy occasion and the family, once a strong unit, is fractured,\u201d the insider told the outlet, referring to the meeting that took place at Andrew and Ferguson\u2019s home with their eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice<\/strong>, 37.<\/p>\n

The insider noted the former couple\u2019s younger daughter, Princess Eugenie,<\/strong> 35, was not present for the family meeting.<\/p>\n

As Examiner previously reported,<\/a> Ferguson lost her royal titles when Andrew relinquished his on Friday, October 17, due to the ongoing controversy regarding his connection to the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.<\/strong> (Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.)<\/p>\n

\u201cWith His Majesty\u2019s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me,\u201d Andrew said in a statement<\/a> released by Buckingham Palace on Friday, October 17. \u201cAs I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.\u201d<\/p>\n
