Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford has announced her engagement, leaving her fans delighted.<\/p>\n

The TV star, who has been a staple on the Channel 4<\/a> series since 2017 with brother Pete Sandiford, took to Instagram<\/a> to reveal her partner Ben McKeown had proposed.<\/p>\n

Sharing a picture surrounded by engagement balloons and snaps from luxury spa Galgorm Resort in Northern Ireland, the couple penned: “WE\u2019RE ENGAGED” with a heart and ring emoji.<\/p>\n

Sophie also included a snap of her stunning sapphire engagement ring, which is on a silver band and surrounded by diamonds.<\/p>\n

It comes as Sophie also addressed her engagement news on Friday’s episode of Gogglebox with brother Pete joking she was “milking it” as she flaunted her dazzling ring to the camera.<\/p>\n

The television star’s 577K followers were quick to respond to the post, as well as her co-stars and some celebrity followers.<\/p>\n

Former Emmerdale<\/a> star, Natalie Ann Jamieson, wrote: “Ahhhh congrats gorgeous girl!” while TOWIE star Amy Childs put: “So happy for you xxxx”.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Gogglebox co-stars, Jenny And Lee, wrote from their joint account: “Congratulations to you both much love to ya Jenny and Lee x.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, one fan commented: “Unreal news!!! Congrats @sophiesandiford1 and @benmckeown9”, a different account put: “Best news ever! So happy for you both” while another added: “Ahhhh look at you both the best news!!!!” with heart emojis.<\/p>\n

The couple first started dating back in 2022 and only recently Sophie revealed her brother Pete’s first words to Ben on an episode of Gogglebox.<\/p>\n

Sophie recalled: “You, first time meeting him ‘oh, I thought you\u2019d be taller,’ as you looked up at him. And then saying ‘I thought you were at least 6ft’ when he is 6ft.”<\/p>\n

To which Pete protested: “He doesn\u2019t look 6ft!”, adding: “Lies, already built on lies!”<\/p>\n

This prompted Sophie to quip in respond: “Just because he makes you look like one of the Borrowers!”<\/p>\n

It comes as the couple recently celebrated their three-year anniversary.<\/p>\n

Back in April, Sophie shared a picture of Ben, writing: “Best 3 years ever @benmckeown9” with a heart emoji.<\/p>\n
