The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/m58\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"motorway will be closed westbound and eastboundLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">motorway will be closed westbound and eastbound<\/a> from junction one to Switch Island from 9pm today (October 25) to 5am tomorrow (October 26).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The overnight closure will be in place so that the cutting and planting of plants can take place. The National Highways website says: &#8220;Overall Scheme Details: M58 Eastbound and Westbound junction 1 to Switch (Island) &#8211; Carriageway Closure for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting) on behalf of Amey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Additionally, the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/m53\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"M53 will be closed southboundLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">M53 will be closed southbound<\/a> from junction three to junction four. The entry and the exit slip roads will be closed as well. These closures will also take place from 9pm tonight to 5am tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">About its closures, the National Highways website says: &#8220;Advance notification of full closures on England\u2019s motorways and major A roads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">&#8220;Closures are listed by start date; select a day from the row above the closures list to see the planned closures for that day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">&#8220;Closures generally run 8pm-6am unless they are over 12 hours.
