Danny Rohl has got off to the worst possible start at Rangers, and the pressure is already building as the German prepares to take charge of his first home match.<\/strong><\/p>\n Rangers were humiliated 3-0 by Brann<\/a> as Rohl lost his first game in charge and the Gers have failed to win any of their opening three Europa League matches.<\/p>\n Rohl was unveiled as Rangers boss<\/a> just two days before the trip to Norway, after the club took over two weeks to find Russell Martin\u2019s successor.<\/p>\n The German does not have long to prepare his team for their first Scottish Premiership match under his leadership when they host Kilmarnock at Ibrox.<\/p>\n Rangers<\/a> have not won at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this season, and Rohl has been warned over his home form at Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> last campaign.<\/p>\n Sheffield Wednesday collected just 26 points from 23 points at Hillsborough under Rohl last season, and Chris Waddle, as per the Daily Record<\/a> [24 October], says that must improve at Rangers.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a big test for Danny Rohl. Sheffield Wednesday was a \u2018what have you got to lose?\u2019 situation. I think they had the worst home record in the Championship last year, so he\u2019ll have to change that.<\/p>\n Sheffield Wednesday\u2019s home form in the Championship.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s obviously going into a club that is low on confidence, with a lot of question marks around them at the minute. it\u2019s a big job at Rangers.\u201d<\/p>\n Rangers\u2019 2-1 win at Livingston<\/a> has been their only league success this season, and Rohl already faces an uphill battle closing a 13 point lead on league leaders Hearts<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rohl could earn greater opportunities if he succeeds at Rangers<\/p>\n The task at hand my be daunting for Rohl, but Waddle believes that if the 36-year-old can come through this spell then better opportunities may arise in the future.<\/p>\n \u201cBut listen, people speak highly of Danny, and he deserves his chance to go to a club like Glasgow Rangers. It\u2019s not often you get offered a job like that,\u201d Waddle said.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no way you can say, \u2018I\u2019m building for the future in two years\u2019 time.\u2019 No, it\u2019s got to be now. The fans will not sit around and think, \u2018We\u2019re not finishing above Celtic again \u2013 and Hearts \u2013 or whatever.\u2019 They\u2019re not having that. So when you go to Rangers, it\u2019s got to be turned around very, very quickly.<\/p>\n \u201cHe did well at Wednesday. So, this is a big test for him, a good test for him. If he comes through this, it\u2019ll obviously lead to other things, I\u2019m sure.<\/p>\n \u201cBut it\u2019s not easy at the minute to get the balance right at Rangers. You have to get a few out the door, get a few in. But at a club like Rangers, you haven\u2019t got time. You\u2019ve got to win yesterday. The pressure will be on straight away.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s up for it. He\u2019s confident, you can see that. He can take on a challenge, there\u2019s no doubt about that.
