Manchester United are back in Premier League action on Sunday as they take on AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium (2pm kick-off).<\/p>\n
Ruben Amorim <\/a>has already admitted that eyes will be on the Europa League<\/a> semi-final against Athletic Club just a few days later. But United<\/a> will look to pick up three points to try and climb the Premier League<\/a> table.<\/p>\n Amorim confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that full-back Diogo Dalot<\/strong> has suffered an injury that could potentially rule him out for the remainder of the season. Amorim said: “He has something in his muscle, his calf, he had a sequence of games, he played all the time, we try to manage but the players play a lot of minutes and not so ready to cope with that. Dalot felt something.<\/p>\n “We don\u2019t know how long he\u2019s going to be out. But he’s out for these next games.”<\/p>\n He will join Lisandro Martinez<\/strong> (ACL) and Joshua Zirkzee<\/strong> (hamstring) on the sidelines for the majority of the remainder of the season. Defender Ayden Heaven will miss the match at the Vitality Stadium after suffering a \u2018small setback\u2019 in his recovery.<\/p>\n Midfielder Toby Collyer<\/strong> is also expected to miss the game against Bournemouth. Amorim confirmed recently that he hopes to have the player back before the end of the season.<\/p>\n The United boss has also given the latest update on both Matthijs de Ligt<\/strong> and Amad<\/strong>. Both players are \u2018near\u2019 to a return, but the game against Bournemouth could come too soon for the duo.<\/p>\n Bournemouth, meanwhile, could be without four players. Striker Enes Unal<\/strong> suffered a knee ligament injury in January, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n Midfielder Ryan Christie<\/strong> is also ruled out for the rest of the season with a groin injury. The third player definitely unavailable is winger Luis Sinisterra,<\/strong> who is being managed on his return from a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n There is also a doubt over the availability of midfielder Lewis Cook<\/strong> who could miss out with an ankle injury. Speaking ahead of the game, Andoni Iraola said: \u201cLewis Cook has been struggling [these] past weeks with some issues around his ankle, kind of tendonitis, something like more chronic, that’s something acute.<\/p>\n \u201cBut he’s not fully training 100 per cent and we will see if we can arrive to the game.
