THE cousin of Steven \u2018Bonzo\u2019 Daniel has been slashed in the neck amid the ongoing gangland turf war, it’s been claimed.<\/p>\n

Jamie \u2018Grinch\u2019 Daniel is said to have been attacked with a knife in a targeted street attack<\/a> near his flat.<\/p>\n

Grinch was slashed last week on Liddesdale Road in Milton near GlasgowCredit: Google<\/p>\n

The ambush in Milton, Glasgow<\/a>, comes days after enemies torched the homes of crime family boss Bonzo\u2019s mum Annette, 63, and his 72-year-old uncle Norman in nearby Bishopbriggs.<\/p>\n

A source told The Scottish Sun on Sunday: \u201cThe guys that targeted him shouted, \u2018This is for your family\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were out to get him big time and caught him on the neck.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s word cops<\/a> wanted him moved as soon as they knew what happened and what his name was. The place is a powderkeg and it\u2019s all just waiting to go off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cops have charged 20 people after a wave of shootings and firebombings in and around Glasgow and Edinburgh<\/a>, including a boy of 16 accused of five attempted murders.<\/p>\n

It is understood the assault on Grinch – said to have happened late last week – was not reported to cops.<\/p>\n

It is the second time in eight years he has been ambushed with a blade.<\/p>\n

He suffered serious injuries in June 2017 when two masked knifemen set upon him at his flat.<\/p>\n

The Daniels and associates of jailed Edinburgh cocaine<\/a> kingpin Mark Richardson, 37, are said to be under attack by a new crew led by a Dubai-based ex-Rangers ultra known as \u2018Miami\u2019.<\/p>\n

Police said they had no record of the latest incident involving Grinch.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, gangsters are seducing kids to take part in their escalating turf war<\/a> with promises of cash and a glamorous lifestyle, a top cop has warned.<\/p>\n

Detective Chief Superintendent<\/a>\u00a0David Ferry said early intervention is needed to stop rival mobs using youths as pawns.<\/p>\n

The head of\u00a0Police Scotland<\/a>\u2019s Specialist\u00a0Crime\u00a0Division urged\u00a0families\u00a0to be vigilant after 20 people were charged in connection with gangland\u00a0violence\u00a0\u2014 including a boy of 16 facing five attempted\u00a0murder\u00a0raps.<\/p>\n
