A man has been arrested after hundreds of cannabis plants were seized during a raid in Bolton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Officers descended on a property in Kearsley<\/a> early on Saturday morning (October 25).<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Police<\/a> says a ‘substantial cannabis farm’ was found inside the property.<\/p>\n

Around 250 plants were seized from inside the cannabis farm.<\/p>\n

A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and abstraction of electricity.<\/p>\n

A GMP Bolton spokesperson said: “Early [Saturday] morning, officers from the South Neighbourhood Team executed a S23 Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant at an address in Kearsley.<\/p>\n

“A substantial cannabis farm was located inside the address with approximately 250 plants.<\/p>\n

“A male, aged 59, was arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and abstraction of electricity. He remains in custody for questioning.”<\/p>\n

GMP has been approached for an update on the investigation.<\/p>\n
