approach to the misuse of fireworks.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Licensing was promised for &#8220;late 2023 or early 2024.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Political rivals have slammed the decision, Scottish Labour justice spokeswoman Pauline McNeill told the newspaper: \u201cIt shows the SNP has no idea what it is doing.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cThey have made a mockery of the Scottish Parliament by asking all parties to vote for a scheme they had no idea how to implement.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cThis is yet another SNP promise that has been quietly dumped \u2014 but not before wasting time and public money on a damp squib.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Damage after the bonfire in Pollokshields last year as today, Scottish government &#8216;ditch&#8217; fireworks display which saw missiles aimed at homes.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Residents who live in Clydebank&#8217;s Radnor Park have spoken of nightly distress after a group of youngsters gathered in Boquhanran Park to let off the explosives, which on occasion are said to have targeted nearby homes.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The anti-social behaviour has been reported in multiple areas across the town, with some claiming the fireworks have been let off &#8220;every day for the past six weeks.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  One concerned resident took to Facebook in a desperate plea after the loud bangs were scaring her dog, leaving it &#8220;absolutely terrified.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  She said the display last week was &#8220;dangerous, illegal and upsetting for the whole community.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Clydebank youths target windows with fireworks at Boquhanran Park (Image: Supplied)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  READ MORE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glasgowtimes.co.uk\/news\/scottish-news\/25548044.boys-charged-targeting-fireworks-cops-glasgow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Boys charged after &#8216;targeting fireworks at cops&#8217;
