Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has named his starting XI to face Manchester City<\/a> in the Premier League this afternoon.<\/p>\n He has made six changes from the team that lost 2-1 to Go Ahead Eagles<\/a> in the Europa League<\/a> on Thursday night.<\/p>\n Emi Mart\u00ednez starts in goal behind a defence of Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, and Lucas Digne.<\/p>\n Boubacar Kamara and Amadou Onana operate in the double pivot, while John McGinn, Emi Buendia, and Morgan Rogers support striker Ollie Watkins.<\/p>\n Villa are targeting their fourth consecutive Premier League victory and a return to winning ways after suffering a shock defeat in the Netherlands in midweek.<\/p>\n The only team in top-flight history to begin a season with a five-game winless run and then win their next four matches were Preston North End in 1936\u201337.<\/p>\n Villa have won their last two home league games against City, and they last achieved a longer winning streak over them between 1960 and 1975 (five matches).<\/p>\n Villa starting XI vs Man City: <\/strong>Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne, Kamara, Onana, McGinn, Buendia, Rogers, Watkins.<\/p>\n Subs:<\/strong> Bizot, Lindelof, Maatsen, Mings, Bogarde, Barkley, Guessand, Malen, Sancho.<\/p>\n What do you make of the Villa team news?
