Leading manufacturing trade body\u00a0Made in Britain<\/a>\u00a0will celebrate the outstanding achievements and innovations made within the UK manufacturing sector at next week\u2019s Impact Awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Made in Britain is delighted to announce that Patrick Grant, star judge of BBC programme The Great British Sewing Bee and founder of Community Clothing, will be on guest speaker duties for this year\u2019s Impact Awards, lending his support to British manufacturers across all industries.<\/p>\n

Patrick has a long and established career in manufacturing, working as a director at a number of bespoke tailors and textile manufacturers across the country. His ethical clothing brand, Community Clothing, works with over 50 manufacturers across Britain. He has been a judge on The Great British Sewing Bee for over 10 years, and is a respected figure in both manufacturing and apparel circles.<\/p>\n

Patrick Grant, host for the evening, said:\u00a0\u201cIt is a great privilege to host the Made in Britain Impact Awards, celebrating an industry that has been close to my heart for most of my life: manufacturing. Throughout my career, I have seen how truly great innovation can solve real-world problems and create a lasting impact, so I am very much looking forward to recognising the achievements of British manufacturers at this year\u2019s Impact Awards.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Made in Britain\u00a0Impact Awards<\/a>\u00a0are an annual celebration of the British manufacturing industry, platforming business leaders and companies that have gone above and beyond to create problem-solving products, championed environmentally-conscious practices, and achieved excellence and growth leading with the official Made in Britain trademark.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event, which has recorded a record number of entrants, will take place at Worcester\u2019s Bank House Hotel on Wednesday 5th November, with a host of Made in Britain\u2019s 2,200 members in attendance for a day of connection and recognition for British manufacturers of all shapes and sizes.<\/p>\n

Made in Britain CEO John Pearce said:\u00a0\u201cThe Impact Awards is our highlight event in the calendar each year, as we reflect on the magnificent achievements, innovations and creations of our 2,200 members across the past year. It serves as a timely reminder of the transformative role manufacturing can play across all walks of life, and is an opportunity to recognise the efforts made by those businesses, manufacturers and industry leaders that are guiding us into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Awards will be handed out across a diverse range of categories, from Sustainability Initiative of the Year to Inspiring Leader of the Year, Social Impact and Heroes of British Export \u2013 covering a variety of manufacturing sectors across British industries.<\/p>\n

With 40% more submissions than last year and entries up around 150% in some categories, the 2025 Made in Britain Impact Awards are set to be the largest to date, thanks to unprecedented demand for these prizes. Previous winners include Royal Oak Health, Byworth Boilers and Sunswap, demonstrating the variety of industries these awards cover each year.<\/p>\n
