The chances of any further PlayStation: The Concert dates going ahead next year, as the tour is set to hit the USA, seem increasingly unlikely.<\/p>\n

It’s been noticed that a further 11 stops on the USA leg of the world tour have now been cancelled, with Ticketmaster no longer listing them as up for purchase. Only a few cities are left in the Ticketmaster search<\/a> that allow you to find tickets, with the rest listed as cancelled.<\/p>\n

What’s more, VGC<\/a> has spotted that the official webpage for the PlayStation gig has now been taken down, with the link directing to a 404 error page<\/a>. This follows on from concert cancellations across Europe and the USA<\/a> for the rest of this year. Sony is yet to comment on the situation.<\/p>\n

Where some dates are cancelled, others aren’t even listed on the venue’s official websites, throwing into question whether they’ll go ahead.<\/p>\n

When we attended PlayStation: The Concert earlier this year in Scotland, we found it to be a fun enough time as a PlayStation fan. “If you have an emotional attachment to some of these franchises like I do, then the experience of listening to them in a big stadium surrounded by hundreds of PlayStation fans with a (mostly) live band, will be enough to ensure a good time. And that\u2019s exactly what I had: a good time. I just wished it covered a wider gamut of PlayStation\u2019s history and had done more to remain truly ‘live’.”<\/p>\n
