Officers from Police Scotland were called to the Spylaw Park area of the capital at around 7.45am on Monday, October 27, following reports a body had been found.<\/p>\n

A probe has been launched after the body of a man was found near a railway tunnel in Edinburgh<\/a> this morning.<\/p>\n

Officers from Police Scotland<\/a> were called to the Spylaw Park area of the capital at around 7.45am on Monday, October 27, following reports a body had been found.<\/p>\n

Cops<\/a> have taped off the Colinton Tunnel after the death which is currently being treated as ‘unexplained’. A large police presence is currently in place in the area with the tunnel taped off.<\/p>\n

In one picture, taken by the Record, a large white sheet is seen in a wooded area near the tunnel. A police<\/a> car is also on the scene as the investigation is carried out.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 7.45am on Monday, October 27, we were made aware of the death of a man in the area of Spylaw Park, Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n
