The show is hosted by Felix Bergsson, four guest jurors voting in each episode. On the jury for episode one were: Gu\u00f0r\u00fan D\u00eds Emilsd\u00f3ttir, Gunnar Birgisson, Edda Sif P\u00e1lsd\u00f3ttir and Logi Bergmann Ei\u00f0sson.<\/p>\n<p>In a change to previous years, instead of awarding points to the songs, they were ranked between 1 and 15. The show sees the guests scoring the competing songs between 1 and 12 points. The contest is incredibly popular in Iceland, regularly being one of the most-watched programs of the year. Iceland has yet to win the contest but has finished in 2nd on two occasions. In 1999, Selma missed out on victory in Jerusalem by 17 points, and in 2009 Yohanna became the most successful Icelandic entrant ever finishing 2nd in the final with the song \u201cIs it True?\u201d.
