Manchester United and Ruben Amorim<\/a> continued their impressive run on Saturday with a third consecutive Premier League<\/a> victory. They now sit in sixth place following their 4-2 triumph over Brighton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amorim faced intense criticism at the start of the season<\/a>, with calls for his dismissal intensifying after a humiliating Carabao Cup loss to Grimsby Town<\/a>. However, the tide appears to be turning.<\/p>\n

United’s form has seen a significant upturn, with five victories in their last seven matches. In the clash against Brighton, summer signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo found the back of the net<\/a>, justifying their combined initial \u00a3127million price tag.<\/p>\n

Despite this attacking prowess, rumours persist linking the club with Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski. The legendary Polish forward’s contract expires next summer and he is reportedly on Amorim’s radar<\/a>, despite initial resistance<\/a> from Sir Jim Ratcliffe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports<\/a> bundle for the 2025\/26 season, saving members \u00a3336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.<\/p>\n

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.<\/p>\n

Robert Lewandowski receives a boost<\/p>\n

Lewandowski is reportedly on United’s shortlist and despite Ratcliffe’s initial dismissal of a move, the striker remains highly regarded by manager Amorim.<\/p>\n

His Barcelona side suffered a 2-1 defeat in El Cla\u0301sico on Sunday at the hands of arch-rivals Real Madrid, with Lewandowski notably absent from the action.<\/p>\n

Amid all this conjecture, the Polish striker had been ruled out through injury. He picked up a hamstring problem whilst representing his country earlier this month. He continued playing for Poland with strapping around his thigh but has since been absent for several weeks.<\/p>\n

But Barcelona and the 37-year-old received welcome news on Monday morning when he returned to training. He took part in a complete session and there is optimism that he will be fit for the club’s upcoming La Liga match.<\/p>\n

Ineos poised to reverse stadium proposals<\/p>\n

In March, Ineos and Ratcliffe revealed their plans to construct a 100,000-capacity ground<\/a> built alongside the existing Old Trafford. This project was allocated a budget of approximately \u00a32billion.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, these bold proposals for an enormous new stadium have encountered obstacles<\/a> and a financial analyst expects that the minority stakeholders will retreat from the venue’s size.<\/p>\n

“I expect to see compromises being made,” expert Keiran Maguire told United In Focus<\/a>. “We’ve already seen that with the somewhat laughable canopy idea being dropped.<\/p>\n

“I would anticipate that the next big decision will be in terms of ground capacity. 100,000 seats is not necessary. I would be surprised if United can do this on budget.”<\/p>\n

Gary Neville praises star for ‘settling’ squad<\/p>\n

Several of United’s summer signings have begun to shine and one player who has secured a regular place under Amorim immediately is goalkeeper Senne Lammens.<\/p>\n

The Belgian arrived on deadline day from Royal Antwerp for \u00a318.2m<\/a>, with the position having been a problem to begin the campaign. United legend Gary Neville<\/a> believes his presence has helped settle the starting XI.<\/p>\n

“The goalkeeper [Lammens] looks like he’s a lot more solid and stable than the other two,” admitted the ex-United defender on his The Gary Neville Podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I like goalkeepers who’ve got a composure to them, a relaxed manner. You can see it in the Lammens. He is somebody who looks composed, and that’s not easy. I’ve said it before that the toughest job possible is to be the United goalkeeper. He’s settled in well.”<\/p>\n
