{"id":533343,"date":"2025-10-28T13:45:27","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T13:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/533343\/"},"modified":"2025-10-28T13:45:27","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T13:45:27","slug":"royal-family-deepfakes-on-the-rise-amid-prince-harry-and-meghans-warning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/533343\/","title":{"rendered":"Royal Family deepfakes on the rise amid Prince Harry and Meghan&#8217;s warning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">Deepfake videos of the Royal Family are on the rise as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to campaign against the use of some forms of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>AI-generated videos have gone viral with clips featuring the late Queen playing video games alongside Princess Diana, as well as shoplifting and raping.<\/p>\n<p>Other videos include Diana serving esquites, a traditional Mexican street snack made of grilled corn, and her professional wrestling debut as she entered the ring.<\/p>\n<p>The voices in the videos are AI-generated, made to sound just like the late royals&#8217; posh tone.<\/p>\n<p>The AI voice of the late Queen can be heard saying: &#8220;Run heavy, but I keep it cocked. Jewels in the pocket, tea kettle locked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Came out the palace straight to the block. Slippers on concrete, still I won&#8217;t stop.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There have also been plenty of AI-generated videos featuring other prominent royals, including King Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate.<\/p>\n<p>Harry and Meghan were recently motivated to join celebrities in signing a letter calling for a ban on the development of &#8220;superintelligent&#8221; AI.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"64e5b\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"1ba8876a1a838bdda27f6e1b569104a2\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%205148%207174'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/harry-and-meghan.jpg\" width=\"5148\" height=\"7174\" alt=\"Harry and Meghan\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Prince Harry stated that &#8216;the future of AI should serve humanity, not replace it&#8217;<\/p>\n<p> | GETTY<\/p>\n<p>The letter, addressed to multiple tech companies, including Google, Meta and OpenAI, called for a &#8220;prohibition on the development of superintelligence, not lifted before there is broad scientific consensus that it will be done safely and controllably, and strong public buy-in&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It explained the concerns about superintelligence, &#8220;ranging from human economic obsolescence and disempowerment, losses of freedom, civil liberties, dignity and control, to national security risks and even potential human extinction&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Prince Harry noted: &#8220;The future of AI should serve humanity, not replace it. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I believe the true test of progress will be not how fast we move, but how wisely we steer.
