Marcus Rashford<\/a> had a mixed time under the five permanent Manchester United<\/a> managers he played under at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n From being handed his debut by Louis van Gaal to being discarded by Ruben Amorim<\/a>, Rashford had his fair share of ups and downs under different managers.<\/p>\n As well as Van Gaal and Amorim, Rashford also played under Jose Mourinho<\/a>, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a> and Erik ten Hag<\/a> as well as caretaker managers Michael Carrick, Ralf Rangnick and Ruud van Nistelrooy.<\/p>\n Rashford\u2019s most consistent period in a Manchester United shirt came during Solskjaer\u2019s tenure and the Barcelona<\/a> loanee admits he \u2018loved\u2019 playing under the Old Trafford hero.<\/p>\n The 27-year-old scored 22 goals in Solskjaer\u2019s first full season in charge and 21 the following year as United reached the Europa League final<\/a>.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Manchester United every day\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s Football Newsletter. <\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your team in the link so we can send you football news tailored to you. <\/p>\n \u2018Ole is a fantastic person,\u2019 Rashford, currently on loan at Barcelona from his boyhood club, told TV 2<\/a>. \u2018I loved playing under him.<\/p>\n \u2018I can speak for many of the players at Manchester United when I say that we enjoyed playing for him. We played good football under Ole.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018It was a very successful period for me personally. He is a fantastic person, and I don\u2019t have a bad word to say about him.\u2019<\/p>\n Rashford\u2019s best season for Manchester United purely in terms of numbers came under Erik ten Hag when he scored 30 goals in all competitions.<\/p>\n It looked at that time that Rashford would establish himself as one of the best players in world football but he stagnated over the next two seasons, failing to reach double figures.<\/p>\n Current Manchester United boss Amorim questioned Rashford\u2019s output in training<\/a> before sanctioning his loan move to Aston Villa last season and his current move to Barcelona.<\/p>\n As part of the Barca loan, United agreed to sell Rashford to the Spanish giants for around \u00a330m next summer<\/a> and that appears to be shrewd business as the England international has enjoyed a bright start to his spell at the Nou Camp.<\/p>\n Rashford has scored five goals and made five assists for Hansi Flick\u2019s side, who are second in La Liga and ninth in the Champions League group phase.<\/p>\n Barcelona lost Sunday\u2019s El Clasico to Real Madrid<\/a> \u2013 Rashford\u2019s England teammate Jude Bellingham scoring the winner \u2013 and will look to get back to winning ways against Elche on Sunday.<\/p>\n For more stories like this,\u00a0check our sport page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Follow Metro Sport for the latest news on Arrow Arrow Arrow![\"Manchester](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/GettyImages-1191266057.jpg\")
