‘This is exactly what is needed’\"TheThe Lodge in Dukinfield has reopened following a major revamp(Image: Proper Pubs)<\/p>\n

A beloved \u2018community focused\u2019 pub in Tameside<\/a> has thrown its doors back open following a major six-figure-sum revamp.<\/p>\n

The Lodge, on Cheetham Hill Road in Dukinfield<\/a>, reopened at the end of last week following a \u00a3245,000 refurbishment, which has also expanded on its state-of-the-art sports offering.<\/p>\n

Part of the Proper Pubs division of Admiral Taverns, the pub has been given a more \u2018inviting\u2019 atmosphere with a newly-revamped bar area consisting of new flooring, furniture, fixtures and fittings throughout.<\/p>\n

There is a dedicated sports room, which a brand new pool table and darts board, whilst customers will also be able to watch live sports, via Sky Sports, TNT and horse racing channels, on state-of-the-art television screens.<\/p>\n

The pub also features brand new lighting and signage, alongside a refreshed outdoor area which can seat up to 120 people.<\/p>\n

Its beer garden features a new outdoor television, as well as an upgraded pergola-covered area with decked flooring and festoon lighting.<\/p>\n

The Lodge\u2019s grand opening was held on Thursday evening (October 23) with live music from rock guitarist and singer Ryan Gilmour. Live entertainment and events will continue at the venue, with the likes of craft fairs, bingo nights, and domino clubs also in the pipeline.<\/p>\n

Under new management, the pub will now be ran by landlady Nataliya Denson, who said she was excited to see how the pub becomes embedded into the community following its revamp.<\/p>\n

Nataliya Denson said: “I\u2019m absolutely delighted to have taken over The Lodge and it was amazing to welcome customers, both old and new, back last week to show off its amazing new look.<\/p>\n
