What history shows about passing 40<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc49\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetf1.com\/features\/seven-f1-2025-predictions-we-regret-already\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seven bad F1 2025 predictions we regret already<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Former Haas F1 team boss turned pundit Guenther Steiner has a theory: Doohan has until the summer break before he\u2019ll be replaced.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about Alpine\u2019s penultimate place on the World Constructors\u2019 Championships standings courtesy of its six points and marginally better performances than Sauber on the <strong>Red Flags F1 podcast<\/strong>, Steiner shared his thoughts on Doohan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJack hasn\u2019t made any of the six points, by the way, just to point that one out,\u201d he said, referring to the team\u2019s championship total. \u201cJust Pierre.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Steiner, it\u2019s only a matter of time until Doohan is replaced: Summer break.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Jack doesn\u2019t do better, that\u2019s a fair chance, y\u2019know, half a season,\u201d Steiner explained, \u201cand then just say, \u2018hey, doesn\u2019t work.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>H continued, \u201cThe difficulty here is the Alpine is not a fantastic car, but Pierre Gasly, again, was in Q3, you know, he was going well..<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd in Q3 [he was] not in P10, he was there, you know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo the car is not as bad as we think it is, but it has got its ups and downs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I think Jack knows that he needs to deliver. And Jack sometimes delivers \u2014 if he could just do it consistently, you know.
