The brand first announced that it would be\u00a0launching a brewery\u00a0in London <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/check-out-these-new-images-of-the-73m-guinness-microbrewery-opening-in-covent-garden-022322\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">back in 2022<\/a>\u00a0but\u00a0has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/londons-guinness-microbrewery-in-covent-garden-just-got-a-step-closer-to-opening-052025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kept us on tenterhooks<\/a>\u00a0ever since. Finally, the wait is over.\u00a0It\u2019s officially been revealed that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/bars-and-pubs\/guinness-at-old-brewers-yard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guinness at Old Brewer\u2019s Yard<\/a>\u00a0will open its\u00a0gates on <strong>Thursday, December 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The first tickets to the huge (54,000 square foot, to be exact) new drinking haven will go for grabs in November. The tour will include an immersive experience exploring Guinness\u2019s heritage, exclusive access to the working microbrewery (which will\u00a0be pumping out 14 different limited-edition brews, not actual Guinness), a tasting session with master brewer\u00a0Hollie Stephenson and an opportunity to pour a pint of the black stuff yourself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the beverages, the venue will\u00a0be home to two restaurants\u00a0led by Pip Lacey of\u00a0Great British Menu\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/hicce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hicce<\/a> fame. Gilroy\u2019s Loft (named after the guy who created some of Guinness\u2019s most iconic ads) will\u00a0serve\u00a0line-caught\u00a0fish and the classic Irish combo of Guinness and oysters on the rooftop,\u00a0while\u00a0Porter\u2019s Table will \u2018spotlight the very best of British produce \u2013 with meat coming from trusted producers across the country and aged locally in west London, fish caught in British waters, and vegetables grown in London\u2019s neighbouring counties\u2019.\u00a0Reservations for both will open next month.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019ll be more casual options at the bar in\u00a0Old Brewers Yard on ground level, with handmade bakes by London\u2019s \u2018king of pies\u2019 Calum Franklin. The courtyard\u00a0will also be home to arts, music and cultural pop-ups and events throughout the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And if you get sick of splitting the G, you can opt for something from the brewery\u2019s\u00a0range of rotating craft brews and seasonal specials.
