Ukraine\u2019s military has significantly disrupted Russia\u2019s economy
\nby targeting oil refineries deep inside Russian territory,
\nPresident Volodymyr Zelensky said, resulting in the loss of more
\nthan 20% of the country\u2019s refining capacity and up to 27% of fuel
\nproduction, Azernews<\/strong> reports.<\/p>\n

Speaking to journalists, Zelensky explained that the strikes
\nhave caused bottlenecks at several refineries, forcing Russia to
\nredistribute fuel volumes among its remaining facilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen repairs began and queues formed at transportation points,
\nthe occupiers had to allocate volumes across other refineries,\u201d
\nZelensky said. \u201cThis makes our mission very clear: we will continue
\ntargeting other refineries as they try to ramp up production.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian President emphasized that while Ukraine is
\ncurrently using a limited number of long-range domestically
\nproduced weapons and Western systems such as the UK\u2019s Storm Shadow
\nand France\u2019s SCALP, 90-95% of strikes deep inside Russia are
\ncarried out using Ukrainian systems.<\/p>\n

Zelensky added that Ukraine will continue producing long-range
\nweapons, securing funding for these efforts, and daily targeting
\nthe economic infrastructure that fuels Russia\u2019s war effort.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the money they earn from oil refining for their war.
\nThat is why we are working in this direction,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
