{"id":535165,"date":"2025-10-29T09:47:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T09:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/535165\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T09:47:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T09:47:12","slug":"ukrainian-drones-target-3-russian-industrial-sites-13-airports-closed-overnight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/535165\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukrainian Drones Target 3 Russian Industrial Sites, 13 Airports Closed Overnight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At least two Russian oil refineries and a major petrochemical producer were targeted in overnight Ukrainian drone strikes, according to media reports and government officials Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Civil aviation regulator Rosaviatsia said 13 airports across Russia, including three in Moscow, and annexed Crimea were forced to pause operations for security checks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s Defense Ministry<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/mod_russia\/57956\"> said<\/a> its air defense forces intercepted 100 Ukrainian drones overnight, nearly half of them over the Bryansk region, and six others over the Moscow region. Five additional drones were<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/mod_russia\/57958\"> downed<\/a> over annexed Crimea on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Bryansk region Governor Alexander Bogomaz<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/avbogomaz\/16304\"> reported<\/a> that the strikes caused damage to nine homes and a Miratorg facility. Miratorg is Russia\u2019s largest meat producer.<\/p>\n<p>Stavropol region Governor Vladimir Vladimirov<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/VVV5807\/5115\"> reported<\/a> a drone attack on an \u201cindustrial zone\u201d in Budyonnovsk, saying the attack \u201cdid not cause significant damage.\u201d The independent news outlet Astra said it had<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/astrapress\/95888\"> identified<\/a> the target as Lukoil\u2019s Stavrolen petrochemical plant, one of Russia\u2019s largest producers of polyethylene and polypropylene.<\/p>\n<p>Ulyanovsk region Governor Alexei Russkikh<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Russkih_Aleksey\/9493\"> confirmed<\/a> drones in the Novospassky district, where Astra<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/astrapress\/95886\"> said<\/a> residents had identified the target as the NS-Oil refinery. Pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/exilenova_plus\/13316\"> claimed<\/a> the Mari Oil Refinery was targeted in the attack.<\/p>\n<p>In Crimea, Russian-installed governor Sergei Aksyonov<a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Aksenov82\/8436\"> said<\/a> Ukrainian drones struck a \u201cfuel storage tank,\u201d causing a fire.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian media<a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/ukrainian-drones-strike-2-oil-depots-in-russian-occupied-crimea-media-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> reported<\/a> that residents witnessed explosions at a local oil depot where military fuel trucks had been seen entering and leaving the previous evening.
