<\/p>\nPolice on the island confirmed that Joanne McCaul, originally from Ballygawley, passed away following the collision last Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Ms McCaul (53) had been living in Bermuda for over 20 years and was riding a rental bike at the time of the collision.<\/p>\n
Emergency services took Ms McCaul to hospital where she later died from her injuries, according to reports.<\/p>\n
Ms McCaul had been working as a manager for the Island Restaurant Group.<\/p>\n
Paying tribute, the group referred to Ms McCaul as \u2018Wee Jo\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith our deepest sympathies, we share the heart breaking news that we have lost our \u2018Wee Jo\u2019,\u201d the restaurant group said.<\/p>\n
\u201cJoanne McCaul was an inspiration to the entire Island Restaurant Group family.<\/p>\n
\u201cJoanne joined IRG in 2004 as a server at Hog Penny, where her dedication and enthusiasm quickly shone through.\u201d<\/p>\n
The group praised Ms McCaul\u2019s work ethic and passion.<\/p>\n
It added: \u201cOver the years, she climbed the ladder into management, leading with kindness, strength, and grace.<\/p>\n
\u201cJo managed several of our IRG restaurants, and her final position was as restaurant m anager at The Pickled Onion and Brew.<\/p>\n
\u201cHer passion, laughter, and warmth touched everyone who had the privilege of working with her.\u201d<\/p>\n
The group offered their sympathies to Ms McCaul\u2019s loved ones.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and everyone who loved our Wee Jo. You will forever be in our hearts,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n

Originally from Ballygawley, Ms McCaul was a former pupil of St Ciaran\u2019s High School and went on to study at Belfast College of Business Studies before moving abroad.<\/p>\n
Tributes came from Ms McCaul\u2019s friends and colleagues, who described her as a \u2018beaming light\u2019 who was \u2018filled with infectious smiles, great stories and infinite laughs\u2019.<\/p>\n
