The injury woes continue for Thomas Frank as yet another Tottenham player has now been ruled out of action for the foreseeable future.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thomas Frank has reiterated that plans are in place to avoid another injury crisis at Tottenham<\/a> this season, but it is fair to say that whatever the Dane\u2019s strategy is, it has not worked out so far.<\/p>\n

Spurs have already had double-digit absentees at times at the early stage of the season<\/a>, with many of those on the treatment table being long-term absentees.<\/p>\n

The situation has just got worse, with another Tottenham midfielder going down with an injury.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Tottenham\u2019s Carabao Cup<\/a> clash against Newcastle United this evening, news has now emerged that Archie Gray has picked up an injury.<\/p>\n

This information comes from The Sun\u2019s Jake Saunders, who does not provide information on what type of injury Gray<\/a> has suffered.<\/p>\n

However, he reveals that the 19-year-old is expected to miss eight weeks of action, which severely depletes Thomas Frank\u2019s<\/a> options.<\/p>\n

Gray joins Cristian Romero, James Maddison<\/a>, Dejan Kulusevski, Dominic Solanke, Destiny Udogie<\/a>, Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin, Kota Takai and Yves Bissouma on the injury table.<\/p>\n

Tottenham\u2019s schedule gets extremely busy over the next few months<\/a>, with fixtures coming thick and fast for the Lilywhites.<\/p>\n

Yves Bissouma is already out with a long-term injury<\/a>, and with Gray now joining him on the treatment table, it leaves Frank extremely short of options in the middle of the park.<\/p>\n

It means that Tottenham now have just Rodrigo Bentancur<\/a>, Joao Palhinha and Pape Sarr as their three central midfield options, and if one of them were to go down with an injury, the Lilywhites may be in serious trouble.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
