London<\/a> Waterloo was rammed with thousands of people this evening after a signal failure caused delays and cancellations. <\/p>\n A\u00a0fault with the signalling system\u00a0at Clapham Junction\u00a0has disrupted several lines, National Rail says<\/a>.<\/p>\n Disruption is expected until the end of the day, with trains coming to and from Waterloo not stopping at certain stations. <\/p>\n One commuter on X: \u2018Utter shambles at London Waterloo tonight.\u2019<\/p>\n Departure boards at Waterloo show dozens of trains in the coming hours as delayed, some by as much as 40 minutes. <\/p>\n South Western Railway is warning riders to expect delays of up to an hour.<\/p>\n Tickets can be refunded, used tomorrow or used today for certain bus services, the railway operator says.<\/p>\n In order to claim a refund you will need to provide:\u2022 Full contact details.\u2022 The time and date of your journey.\u2022 The stations you travelled to and from.\u2022 A description of the series of events that took place.\u2022 Copies of your train tickets and taxi receipt.To\u2026<\/p>\n \u2014 SWR Help (@SW_Help) October 29, 2025<\/a>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Services between Waterloo to Shepperton will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Fulwell, calling at Twickenham and Strawberry Hill.<\/p>\n All services from Waterloo to Wimbledon will not call at Vauxhall and Earlsfield. <\/p>\n Services from Wimbledon to Waterloo will also not stop at Clapham Junction. <\/p>\n Got a story?
