\n\tCheryl Hines<\/a> is looking back on her recent visit to The View<\/a> while promoting her memoir, Unscripted. <\/p>\n

\n\tDuring her Oct. 14 appearance <\/a>on the ABC talk show, Hines was asked about her husband, Robert F. Kennedy<\/a> Jr., his decision to support Trump<\/a>\u2019s candidacy, her thoughts on his stance on vaccines and his medical qualifications to be the Department of Health and Human Services head.<\/p>\n

\n\tReflecting on the visit, Hines says she had hoped it was going to be more of a \u201cpersonal\u201d conversation.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile joining the Hot Mics with Billy Bush\u00a0podcast, Bush asked Hines what it was like to go on The View and if it was what she expected.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMmm-hmm,\u201d Hines said while nodding her head, before adding, \u201cI was actually hoping it was going to be more personal on The View, but it was what it was.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey just wanted to grill me about Bobby,\u201d Hines said of hosts Sunny Hostin,\u00a0Whoopi Goldberg,\u00a0Joy Behar,\u00a0Sara Haines\u00a0and\u00a0Alyssa Farah Griffin.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Bush asked if anyone surprised her in a good way, because she thought going into it that they were going to be a \u201cdifficult person,\u201d Hines said, \u201cI didn\u2019t think anybody would be difficult, but I wasn\u2019t sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile on her press tour to promote her memoir, Bush asked if Hines can \u201ctell when someone hasn\u2019t read your book,\u201d to which she admitted, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI mean, I don\u2019t think the ladies on\u00a0The View\u00a0asked me one question about my book,\u201d she said. \u201cBut, you know, that\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHines and Kennedy have been married since 2014<\/a>. Hines admitted on The View that Kennedy\u2019s decision to\u00a0end his campaign for president and endorse Trump during the last election\u00a0was a \u201cvery difficult\u201d one. However, she said, \u201cat the end of the day, President Trump and Bobby sat down and talked, and yes, they did have a lot of common goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Hostin later questioned<\/a> Hines over the qualifications of RFK Jr. to be the HHS head and claimed he \u201cspread a lot of misinformation, a lot of chaos, a lot of confusion\u201d which is \u201ca dangerous thing,\u201d Hines attempted to respond to the allegations of misinformation. After she was quickly interrupted by Hostin, Hines then interjected, \u201cMay I? May I finish?\u201d<\/p>\n
