Prince Harry’s meetings are often interrupted by his kids<\/p>\n
The Duke of Sussex has revealed that his kids “just barge in” when he is taking calls from his and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s office at their home in Montecito, California.<\/p>\n
Harry told the Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know podcast: “All they’re interested in is saying hi to the people on the call. Or they’re fascinated to see other people. They love seeing familiar faces. They will run in and kind of, occasionally, there’s the moment with the hand on the forehead, saying, ‘Not now.’<\/p>\n
“But then they jump on the lap and say, ‘Hi guys!’.<\/p>\n
When asked if Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, know what he does for a living, the 41-year-old royal replied: “They know I help people.”<\/p>\n
\nHarry also discussed his and Meghan’s mental health campaign and why they think it is so important to tackle the danger that social media poses for youngsters.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “Myself and my wife, we’ve talked about this quite a lot… We’ve had our fair share of beatings on social media. <\/p>\n
\n“I guess when we moved to the US one of the things that we both agreed… and what we were in search of, was what is the root cause of so much pain and suffering in the world?<\/p>\n
\n“And if we can identify that, how can we shine a light on that and support the people trying to change the industry? It was the tech industry and it was social media.”<\/p>\n
\nHarry has implored parents to provide their children with “old-school” phones instead of letting them access addictive smartphones.<\/p>\n
\nHe explained: “If you want to be able to contact your kid, maybe we should just be giving them the old-school phone.”<\/p>\n
\nHarry and Meghan relocated to the US after stepping down as working members of the British royal family in 2020 but the former has suggested that he has “no plans” to become an American citizen.<\/p>\n
\nThe prince said: “Am I going to become a US citizen? There are no plans to be, at this point.”<\/p>\n
\nHarry previously claimed that he had “considered” the move, which would require him to renounce his royal title, during an interview on Good Morning America last year.<\/p>\n
\nWhen asked by broadcaster Will Reeve what would stop him from doing so, the royal said: “I have no idea. I’m here standing next to this with these guys (Invictus Games athletes) and the American citizenship is certainly something that has crossed my mind but certainly not something that is a high priority for me right now.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"30 October 2025 Prince Harry‘s meetings are often interrupted by his children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
