Halloween is just hours away but some of us may still be looking for last-minute plans. Thankfully, there’s lots of spooky events taking place in and around Liverpool which are free to do or still have tickets available.<\/a><\/p>\n

There will be a free parade taking place in Liverpool<\/a> tomorrow. The Katumba Halloween Parade will take over the city centre from 7pm On Friday, October 31, featuring drum bands, fire and monsters.<\/p>\n

Adventure Coast Southport<\/a> will host its Day of the Dead festival on Saturday, November 1. The event features live shows, family entertainment and fireworks. The ECHO<\/a> has rounded-up some of the fun things for families to do this Halloween<\/a> weekend.<\/p>\n

The Katumba Halloween Carnival Parade will music, colour and celebration to streets across Liverpool city centre<\/a>. The event will start on Bold Street at 7pm on Friday, October 31 before its procession heads through the city centre, before an unmissable finale in Liverpool ONE.<\/p>\n

The award-winning Halloween experience, located inside the former Newsham Park Hospital, features live action scare zones, horror mazes and theatrical experiences. There’s also a themed scream bar and street food court yard.<\/p>\n

The Halloween date is currently sold out but there is a waiting list available. However, Thursday, October 30 and Saturday, November 1 still has availability. More information can be found on its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Formerly known as the Halloween Lakeside Trail and now reimagined for 2025, Halloweenville<\/a> has transformed a picturesque 70-acre site nestled in the idyllic Cheshire countryside into an enchanted Halloween land.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme will take visitors \u2018under water\u2019 to the haunting depths of the Gold Lake, featuring ghostly sea creatures, sunken secrets and the skeleton pirates.<\/p>\n

Visitors can also toast marshmallows or enjoy a delicious hot chocolate, spiced pumpkin latte or cocktail and try tasty treats from a range of food vendors, while the Patridge Caf\u00e9 will serve classic hotdogs, burgers and fries.<\/p>\n

There are time slots available every day until Sunday, November 2. Check the Halloweenville website<\/a> for tickets.<\/p>\n

Day of the Dead Southport\"AdventureAdventure Coast Southport has confirmed the Day of the Dead festival will return in November(Image: Liverpool ECHO)<\/p>\n

Adventure Coast Southport<\/a>\u2019s Day of the Dead festival <\/a>will return with live shows, family entertainment and dramatic firework finales this weekend. The festival starts at 4.30pm and will finish at 9pm on Saturday, November 1, and Saturday, November 8.<\/p>\n

The celebration of Mexico\u2019s D\u00eda de los Muertos<\/a> offers an exciting evening featuring high-energy performance, atmospheric lighting and immersive entertainment that concludes in a firework finale. Further information can be found on the Adventure Coast website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Quarry Bank\"HalloweenHalloween at Quarry Bank returns for 2025<\/p>\n

National Trust site Quarry Bank<\/a> is located at a cotton mill and estate located in Styal, Cheshire. The site has beautiful gardens that rise up banks of the river valley, providing incredible views of the changing seasons. There’s also woodlands for visitors to explore.<\/p>\n

Until November 1, visitors will be able to wander through a Halloween trail the flickering garden paths through the fog, where demon eyes glow and giant skeletons loom over twisted trees.<\/p>\n

The trail features a field of 50 gravestones and 12 coffins, 3.5m tall giant skeletons, a Pumpkin Garden and a monstrous Carnivorous Garden and many more spooky projections and installations. Information can be found on the National Trust website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
