Police have asked the public to check gardens, sheds, and outbuildings in an effort to find Ruth Hannah.<\/p>\n

Officers have launched an urgent plea to help find an 80-year-old woman reported missing<\/a> from the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

Ruth Hannah was last seen around 10.55am on Thursday, October 30, at a supermarket on Colinton Road.<\/a><\/p>\n

She is described as around 5ft 4in tall, of average build, with short dark hair and glasses.<\/p>\n

When last seen, Ruth was wearing a dark-coloured coat, a grey jumper, black trousers, and black shoes. She was also carrying a shoulder bag with a long strap.<\/p>\n

Inspector<\/a> Caroline Herbert said: \u201cConcerns are growing for Ruth\u2019s welfare and it is important we make sure she is safe and well.<\/p>\n
