Leeds United<\/a> are preparing for a trip to Brighton this weekend. Daniel Farke shared the latest injury news from his camp.<\/strong><\/p>\n

United have a chance to continue their encouraging start to life back in the Premier League when they face Brighton<\/a> on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Having deservedly beaten West Ham six days ago, a trip to the AMEX represents a tougher proposition for Leeds. However, they will be boosted by the Seagulls having much less time to prepare after last night\u2019s EFL Cup defeat to Arsenal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leeds United injury news: Daniel Farke issues update on Gabriel Gudmundsson and Willy Gnonto<\/p>\n

Only two players were definite injury issues coming out of the win against the Irons. Willy Gnonto was again absent as he recovers from hernia surgery<\/a>. Meanwhile, Gabriel Gudmundsson<\/a> took an injury to his lower back and was forced off during the first half.<\/p>\n

Speaking in his pre-match press conference<\/a>, Farke confirmed the surprising injury news that Leeds actually have a full squad to head down to Brighton.<\/p>\n

Gnonto has returned to team training and should be fit enough for at least the bench. Also, Gudmundsson\u2019s back injury isn\u2019t going to keep him out either.<\/p>\n

Farke compared Gudmundsson\u2019s injury to a dead leg. He suffered a bruise in his back that stopped him from being able to sprint on Friday night. However, it was quickly overcome to see him fit for this weekend.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not very often that Farke has been able to select from a full contingent at Leeds. That\u2019s the luxury that the German has this week away at the AMEX, barring late setbacks in training.<\/p>\n

That of course is huge news for Farke in a crucial period of the season, and in particular, it finally gives Farke more to work with in his weakest position.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no denying that the right wing is the area where Leeds could do with more consistency. Brenden Aaronson stood out against West Ham<\/a> in that role, but given he\u2019s not a specialist to the role, a natural wide option would be really beneficial moving forward.<\/p>\n

James has now had another week of training under his belt. Gnonto is back in contention, and Aaronson is off the back of his best performance in a white shirt.
