Leeds United<\/a> will no doubt have one eye on January transfers as we approach November, and Daniel Farke reportedly has his eye on Coventry City star Haji Wright<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you were to diagnose any of the issues right now with Leeds\u2019 battle to stay in the Premier League, you\u2019d probably note something to do with the attack.<\/p>\n

Nine goals scored in nine games is respectable. Leeds are also eighth for big chances (20)<\/a>, and 11th for xG (11.5)<\/a>. However, it\u2019s clear there\u2019s room for improvement in both creativity and finishing.<\/p>\n

If Leeds are to dip into the January window for attacking additions this January window, there\u2019ll already be work ongoing to get targets in place.<\/p>\n

Leeds United News<\/a> report that Coventry City\u2019s star striker Haji Wright has entered the club\u2019s view this month.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old USMNT forward has been in fine fettle this season. From 11 Championship appearances, he already has eight goals for Frank Lampard\u2019s side. Since joining the Sky Blues, Wright has scored 36 league goals in 84 appearances.<\/p>\n

Coventry have a chance to temporarily extend their lead at the top of the table to six points when they play Wrexham on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Leeds United also considering Norwich City, Daniel Farke reunion with Josh Sargent<\/p>\n

Wright isn\u2019t the only US international playing in the Championship that is supposedly being targeted. The report also notes long-standing interest in Norwich City\u2019s Josh Sargent.<\/p>\n

Sargent, 25, started the season in incredible form with five goals in his first four games, but hasn\u2019t scored since as Liam Manning comes under immense pressure. Farke\u2019s former side find themselves in the Championship relegation zone after 12 games.<\/p>\n

The Canaries striker has been at the club since Farke\u2019s final summer window at Carrow Road, contracted until the summer of 2028.<\/p>\n

Do Leeds United need a Championship striker signing to help their survival bid?<\/p>\n

There\u2019s plenty of criticism thrown at Dominic Calvert-Lewin for his finishing in the penalty area. But, would a signing from the Championship make that huge a difference?<\/p>\n

Both Wright and Sargent would cost a huge sum relative to their impact on our performances, and that money would be better served elsewhere.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re much more in need of a right-winger that can add goals and creativity. If a player of Wright\u2019s quality costs \u00a320million (for example), that money would be more useful for a winger that can start on the right.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re both good players and would be good depth for us, but we need more than just good options.<\/p>\n
