Applications are now open to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority<\/a> Culture Fund Spirit and Sustain strands of investment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GMCA Culture Fund has delivered\u00a0\u201ctransformational social and economic value\u201d,\u00a0<\/strong>from mental health support to youth engagement, refugee inclusion, supporting the city\u2019s visitor and night time economy and \u201cmaking our high streets and town centres thriving and exciting places\u201d.<\/p>\n

The three-year funding is for cultural organisations in Greater Manchester.<\/p>\n

The GMCA is made up of the ten Greater Manchester councils and Mayor, who work with other local\u00a0services, businesses, communities and other partners to improve the city-region.<\/p>\n

Spirit and Sustain<\/p>\n

The Greater Manchester Culture Fund 2026\u20132029<\/a> is open for applications through two investment strands: Spirit<\/strong> and Sustain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Spirit<\/strong> is for organisations delivering cultural activity in more than one Greater Manchester district, with funding between \u00a320,000 and \u00a3200,000 per year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sustain<\/strong> is for organisations delivering activity in\u00a0all ten GM districts, with funding of\u00a0\u00a3200,000 or more per year<\/strong>. Sustain recipients are \u201cexpected to play a leadership role in supporting the wider cultural sector\u201d.<\/p>\n

The deadline for applications to both funding strands is 5pm on Wednesday 19 November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
